About the Role
This role reports to Senior Vice President, Revenue Operations
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ad templates for peak performance
- Implement processes, systems and standard methodologies
- Test/troubleshoot new ad products
- Build, flight, QA, and optimize advertising campaigns
- Use creative problem-solving skills and internal and external data to optimize campaigns towards client performance goals (such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, ROI)
- Show flexibility and willingness to handle miscellaneous operational tasks and advertiser requests
- Develop and enforce a structured QA system
- Service ad-hoc inventory requests from the sales team to support the RFP process
- Vet and onboard new programmatic demand partners
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly analysis related to ad and partner performance
- Create and document best practices on campaign set up including review of placements, bids and rates, etc.
- Execute and lead technical troubleshooting of programmatic display, video and ad layouts
- Collaborate with sales to identify new revenue opportunities through programmatic revenue analysis
- Support our paid marketing team by maintaining and growing page view RPM via programmatic channels
Professional Qualifications
- Experience with Google Ad Manager, DV360, or other ad servers/DSPs
- Expertise in online advertising ecosystem, display ad arbitration a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues down to code level
- Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of Audience Insights pixels (DataLogix, BlueKai, Quantcast) a plus
- A comprehensive understanding of Prebid
- General knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
- Specific knowledge of Google Publisher Tags (GPT), Prebid and other associated client scripts. Ability to converse with the development team on issues and optimization at a technical level.
