The Kitchen Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to learn more about kitchen operations.

**Duties**
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations.
- Stock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Support the team during busy periods by taking on additional tasks as required.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food handling techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques.
- A positive attitude and a passion for the culinary arts are essential for success in this role.
