Position Overview:
This is an Out of Scope, Full-time, Civilian position, with the Prince Albert Police Service. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:45pm (7.75hrs/day) with every third Friday off.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensure the buildings and fleet of vehicles are safe, operational and professional.
- Maintain accurate records of all building and fleet assets, needs, costs and activities.
- Maintain and project required building and fleet equipment.
- Identify safety or operational risks with the buildings and fleet, providing proactive solutions.
- Perform tasks related to building and fleet maintenance; change lightbulbs, wiper blades, check oil, stock equipment, repair walls, install shelves, assemble furniture etc.
- Coordinate outside agencies to complete maintenance that is complex or specialized.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Manage maintenance projects.
- Receive reports/requests from employees, prioritize and address.
- Ensure SGI claims are made in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate and transport vehicles for service.
- Maintain effective working relationships with employees and community partners.
- Any other duties as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Skills to care for buildings and fleet.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Positive attitude and commitment to team work.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs.
- Self-driven and ability to work within deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to respond in a fast paced environment.
- Previous building and fleet maintenance is an asset.
