Family Owned and Operated for 40 years, Great Lakes Greenhouses is the largest grower, shipper, and packer of hydroponic cucumbers in North America. We are a 118-acre state-of-the-art facility on one site providing year-round production. Our mandate is to produce the healthiest safest food. At Great Lakes Greenhouses we pride ourselves on maintaining quality and excellence in everything we do.

As part of our maintenance team, you will be required to perform various maintenance duties, including emergency and general maintenance on building and equipment.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- General maintenance, repairs, and small projects around the farm.
- Demonstrate mechanic skills including, mechanical, electrical, and carpentry.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals
- Diagnose problems and make required repairs and adjustments.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Be aware of, and comply with all safety regulations.

**Required skills**:

- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a maintenance function.
- Knowledge and experience in welding procedures and fabrication considered an asset.
- Able to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Experience with food packaging equipment considered an asset.
- Able to work at heights.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Forklift Training and/or License considered an asset
- Speak and understand English
- Spanish will be considered an asset

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leamington, ON N8H 3V6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
