At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned HR/Recruitment Assistant to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

The **HR/Recruitment Assistant** position will report directly to the HR Manager and HR department, and will be instrumental in providing support to the team.

**The HR/Recruitment Assistant will**:

- Support the hiring team with recruiting needs, interview follow ups, and onboarding activities
- Facilitate a smooth hiring process for both the hiring team and job applicants
- Maintain the hiring department’s high degree of organization and efficiency by exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with the hiring team to help carry out streamlined onboarding processes
- Create job listings and post them online

***To be successful you should have**:

- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Human Resources Management and/or
- Equivalent experience (1-3) years in Human Resources / Recruitment
- Immaculate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Perceptive listening skills
- Adeptness at using/learning applicant tracking system software, such as ADP or Humi

**Additional skills considered an asset**:

- Experience working as a Recruiter assistant or HR assistant, or in a related roles
- Razor Sharp attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Resilience in the face of unexpected challenges and setbacks
