Hatch Information Professionals (aka librarians) have training and research experience; and hundreds of web-based data warehouses covering related businesses, company profiles, patents, news, technical papers, industry standards and project archives. The KIRC group of ten Information Professionals are located in Australia, Canada, India, South Africa, and United States. The KIRC professionals collaborate weekly to discuss current projects, challenges and share experiences with objective to identify and adopt the best practices, and to maximize the benefits of investment in information resources and services.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Research and reference services
- Collection management including cataloguing online library materials
- Document delivery of articles and interlibrary loans
- Media monitoring (custom current awareness news)
- Assist with knowledge and information management initiatives and programs
- Training users on library services and resources
- Online serials circulation
- Knowledge management programs and initiatives
- Copyright clearance
On the job training is available.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Teamwork skills as well as work independently
- Passion and drive to make a real difference
- Some experience working in an engineering or technical library
- Computer skills using Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Teams, Lucidea/SydneyPlus, EOS (Sirsi/Dynix)
