Nickel City Communications Ltd. is a one stop shop for corporate and business technology. Over the past 10 years we have expanded throughout Ontario and service a wide variety of customers. We provide cabling infrastructure, data/wifi networks, servers, telecommunications/PBX telephony, and various other technology related services. Nickel City Communications can do it all and we work directly with the leading manufacturers throughout the tech industry. We are currently looking for a Structured Cable Technician to join our current team. This job does not involve sitting at a desk for 40 hours a week. You will be able to visit customer sites, perform on site as well as off-site work and be part of the entire Nickel City Communications portfolio. **Skills and qualifications**: - Previous experience is a definite asset. Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic - Understanding of various cable infrastructure "best practices". - Strong documentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication both internally and with the end users. - Must have the ability to multi task and maintain strong organization skills. - Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to dealing with multiple clients in any given day. - Must have a valid driver license. Proof of personal auto insurance is also required for access to company vehicles. - Must be willing to travel throughout Ontario.
