The General Manager, Canada is a member of the Americas Business Team responsible for the strategic overview, business organization and tactical day-to-day management of the Canada region operations, including P&L, management development, distribution, Worldclass Manufacturing implementation and competitive market analysis. This role will drive operational effectiveness and efficiency improvements throughout innovative processes to ensure regulatory compliance, as well as deliver expense management, while supporting operations and sales.

Job Responsibilities- Develop strategic vision and implement operational goals aligned with business strategy, work closely with the US business responsible as well as peers leading different processes (finance, HR, operations).- Develop and maximize revenue and profit for the Canada Business of Armacell.- Develop, monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive internal logistics, functional performance improvements and operational performance improvements.- Responsible for compliance with all local and federal regulatory agencies.- Develop and maintain policies and procedures in support operations.- Lead team to achieve operational KPIs, support partners, and drive continuous improvements through Worldclass Manufacturing pillar leaders.- Research and identify best practices and trends in the marketplace and lead the implementation of innovative ideas that drive progress and continuous improvement..- Create, manage and achieve overall department budgets.- Implement the Global Armacell Vision and Strategy for the Canada business.- Responsible for identifying and evaluating new potential business ventures in Canada.- Direct and coordinate the activities of all business functions for maximum market success and profitability.- Develop and implement market analysis on market information, competitor activities, and government and trade requirements.- Develop and manage Canada agency/distribution/market channel strategy by developing annual budgets and goals, ensuring the manufacturing strategy supports the strategic plan, and defining effective quality processes.- Lead and ensure Company safety programs are robust and support legal requirements.- Manage Canadian pricing strategy, final decision on price allowances- Provide Canada Logistics team with forecasting to ensure accurate production planning information by customer group and product line.- Develops and negotiate national contracts.

Job Qualifications and Requirements- Master’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or related required.- Minimum 10 years experience in business and operations management in a manufacturing environment.- Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills.- Possesses the ability to effectively lead cross functional teams in a global environment.
