Production Supervisor

**Job Duties**:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of staff and the daily manufacturing production through organization, direction, coordination and effective deployment of resources to meet production targets and quality standards. This position will also work collaboratively with the assembly and quality control leads.
- Allocate production activities and responsibilities on the production floor
- Day to day reallocation to address production priorities.
- Provide direction, training of staff in production methods, safety, policies and procedures, identification and correction of potential work problems and health and safety issues
- Manage and supervise staff
- Work with Production Manager to execute daily production schedules
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations and company policies
- Oversee staff and operations of the production floor
- Ensure work orders are completed in a timely fashion
- Maintain a safe, clean and legally compliant workplace
- Health and Safety compliance and ensure that all standards are followed, including wearing protective equipment
- Report any unsafe conditions, accidents or injuries to management
- Maintain product quality
- Address concerns and resolve problems
- Prepare production and other reports

**Education Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in electronics or manufacturing is required.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory and management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor.
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance supervisor experience
- Experience reading and comprehending production documentation, SOP Manuals, etc.
- Experience using equipment and technology (Sage X3 ERP, electronics production line machinery, measurement tools
- Lean / Six Sigma certification would be an asset (green belt preferred)
- WHMIS (2015) safety certification or equivalent would be an asset.

- Position requires a reasonable amount of movement around the manufacturing facility.
- Fast-paced production environment
- Lifting: Weight limit: 50 lb.
