Stair Assembler/manufacturer

Newmarket, Canada Construction Ontario Full time

We are seeking an individual with experience in stair assembly/manufacturing (or similar fields such as cabinet assembly) to fill a full-time inshop position at our stair and railing company in Newmarket, family owned and operated for 37 years. We manufacture and install custom stair and railing systems for some of the most prestigious builders and designers across the GTA and surrounding areas.

Specific Duties & Schedule:

- Manufacturing of various wood stair components including treads, risers, stringers, etc.
- Assembly of components into complete stair systems.
- Maintaining safe/clean work area.
- Weekly day shift with overtime available.
- 8 to 10 hour work days.
- Flexible start times between 5:00am to 7:00am.

**Requirements**:

- Highschool Education +
- Stair manufacturing (or similar) experience a must
- Ability to read work orders and cut lists

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
