**Role & Function**
Sobi is a leading integrated biopharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing innovative therapies and services to improve the lives of rare disease patients and their families. We have a diversified and growth-oriented product portfolio in the key therapeutic areas of Hematology, Inflammation, and Genetics & Metabolism.
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) position is a hybrid role combining field-facing and office/home-office-based activities. The MSL will maintain professional relationships with some of the country’s leading opinion leaders in neurology, cardiology, hematology, and inflammation, and will contribute to strategy, including virtual engagements, brand planning, and support of HTA submissions, among others. **Please note this position is remote with required travel #Li-Remote

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and communicate in-depth clinical knowledge of the rare disorders of interest to SOBI.- Support in deployment of virtual engagement tools and activities.- Lead execution of advisory boards.- Provide cross-functional support to Access colleagues in HTA submissions.- Establish relationships with opinion leaders, prominent academic and clinical investigators and leaders of medical and scientific organizations who can contribute to the clinical diagnosis and management of rare disorders.- Identify and communicates key clinical and research insights from key opinion leaders to help formulate SOBI research and development strategies.- Participate in informing relevant investigators regarding SOBI pipeline and research opportunities.- Respond to unsolicited requests for investigator initiated studies (IISs) and support submission through appropriate internal channels.- Assist in the development and delivery of scientific training to field sales and other SOBI team members**Qualifications**
- PharmD, MD, PhD or other doctoral-level degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years related pharma/biotech experience.- Demonstrated ability to build positive constructive relationships with cross functional team members- Demonstrated high level of personal integrity, emotional intelligence, flexibility- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills- Ability to initiate and maintain relationships throughout the medical community- Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information; respond to inquiries and address needs of key stakeholders- Experience in relevant clinical practice a plus- Understanding of the highly regulated biopharmaceutical industry environment- Ability and willingness to travel as needed- Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment- Disease state knowledge, hematology, neurology, cardiology, immunology and rare disease preferred**Personal attributes**
