**Position**: Shipping & Receiving/ Back up Delivery Driver (5 Ton Truck)

**Minimum Credentials**: High school & Drivers’ License

**Objective**:

- _Shipping & Receiving_ - to ensure that inventory is up-to-date and incoming materials are properly stored.
- _Back-Up Delivery Driver_ - a professional driver who possesses excellent knowledge of driving laws, ability to follow directions, maintain records and billing statements, and communicate effectively.

**Main Responsibilities (Shipping & Receiving)**:

- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload transport and store goods

**Main Responsibilities (Delivery Driver)**:

- Coordinate proper loading/unloading of orders with Shipping/Receiving personnel.
- Document any shortages and/or damages on invoices.
- Ensure all internal/external paperwork meets the Nossack Distribution Centre policies.
- Set up all loads to be shipped for that day.
- Conduct security checks and inspections along the way.
- Follow local and interprovincial highway safety regulations.
- Keep records of loads delivered and picked up; including departure times, and maintain vehicle log information (fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service).
- Complete Driver Report Forms.
- Load trucks to maximize the use of space and distribute weight accordingly and ensure safety on the road.
- Operate trucks and maneuver them in tight spaces.
- Provide good customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Powered Mobile Equipment experience is an asset.
- 3 years experience with Commercial Driving.
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse-type facility is considered an asset.

Salary**:Starting from** $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (to be discussed in person)

**Schedule**:

- 8-10 hour shift

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Red Deer, AB T4P3Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
