We currently have a need for **Fabricators** for our Elmira, ON plant. **Fabricators** utilize technical drawings, blueprints or other specifications to construct metal products, as well as a number of products ranging from sheet metal parts to metal molds. Fabricators often advance in manufacturing operations to Welders, Quality Control Inspectors or CNC operators. Opportunities for advancement are available.
- Experience using cut saws, angle saws, punches, presses and grinders.
- Fine measuring experience.
- Ideally 1 year experience with metal assembly projects.
- Read and understand drawings.
- Read and understand measuring instruments using fractions.
- CNC router table an asset.
- Forklift experience an asset (can be trained).
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
- Good communication abilities.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards.
- A high energy level, a positive attitude and be able to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work well with others as a member of a team as well as independently.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Frequent lifting of 50lbs to waist height without straining themselves.

Shifts (straight, non-rotating):
Days - Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm

Afternoons - Monday to Friday: 3:00pm to 11:00pm ($0.80 per hour premium)

Midnight - Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am ($1.05 per hour premium)

Starting rate is $22.81/hr, moving to $24.91 after 6 months and $26.31 after 12 months.
