The Dishwasher/Receiver plays a vital role in the successful operation of all of our kitchen. Awareness, consistency, cleanliness and care are all hallmarks of this position. The back of house and events team rely heavily on output from the dishwashing station making efficiency, neatness and preparation critical to the success of this position. The individual in this role works hard and takes pride in organization, cleanliness and presenting a well-maintained and orderly area.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness of the receiving bay and dry goods area, ensuring all equipment is in full working order and any necessary cleaning agents are stocked
- Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality
- Ensure invoices for each delivery are given to the correct dept
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related departments or areas
- Regularly remove full waste bags and recycling and carry to the appropriate outdoor receptacles from F&B depts
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Ensure all storage areas are organized and tidy
- Maintain clean and tidy workstations
