**Production Assistant**

QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal energy consumption of commercial and residential properties. We have offices in Coquitlam, Calgary, and Toronto and have a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.

**Responsibilities Include**:
**Production**
- Manage work order requests to organize, pull and tag as per procedures
- Inspection/Quality Control -Electrical and Mechanical meters incoming and outgoing
- Work with computer software interface involving Electrical and Mechanical meters
- Meter programming and setup via local and remote access technologies
- Completion of documentation and inventory logging
- Assisting the Supply Chain Manager with small rush orders
- Managing inspection and programming meters as needed
- Follows measurement Canada accreditation
- Responsible to keep station tidy and organized.

**Warehouse**
- Warehouse/Shipping - ensure boxes are stacked properly to ensure no damage to product. Items clearly listed as per warehouse procedure.
- Receives - record serial number, enter to Builtspace, programming and confirm QC, seal box, add labels as per QA program
- Support Measurement Canada Meter sealing bench program
- Support Meter Technicians in the field and manual electrical meter reads - local field work
- Ability to work independently as part of a broad team structure
- Ensure warehouse procedure are followed

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Computer Skills and competency - Understand basic Networks, MS Office, Navigate Software APPS
- Attention to detail and ability to remain focused while repeating tasks
- Must have clean driving record
- Have excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
- Ability to manage high work volume and shifting priorities
- Assets Considered - Skills in Production and Warehousing
- Assets Considered - Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
