We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Service Shop Coordinator** to join our team. The **Service Shop Coordinator** plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our repair shop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in heavy-duty truck repair, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Schedule: 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday - Thursday**

**Details**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and technicians, ensuring efficient communication throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate and schedule repair operations, making estimates and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
- Monitor repair progress to ensure repairs are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair activities including work performed, parts used, and costs incurred.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customers concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies and best practices related to truck repairs.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification or training in automotive or truck repairs an asset.
- Proven experience in truck repair coordination or a related role, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of truck repair operations, including diagnosing and coordinating repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with repair management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Standing and some moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
