Eataly's bustling marketplaces feature a rich variety of unique, high-quality Italian and local products. The Fresh Market Artisan supports operations of the fresh departments: Cheese & Salumi, Butcher, Bakery and Fresh Pasta. Reports directly to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Supports Fresh Market production with a focus on Cheese & Salumi, Butcher, Bakery and Fresh Pasta.
- Works closely with Fresh Market manager to review and fill requisitions, orders, transfers to all outlets.
- Works closely with department leadership for recipe testing, yield testing and cost saving measures.
- Supports Fresh Market departments in inventory counts on a monthly basis.
- Ensures counters and displays are visually appealing and merchandized effectively at all times.
- Follows Health and Safety protocols in Fresh Market departments.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of retail/production experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead a team in a production setting
- Ability to effectively communicate with upper management, staff and guests
- Excellent time management skills
- Good knowledge of and passion for Italian technique and cuisine
- Experience purchasing and managing inventory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Requirements:

- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as a slicer, pasta machine, sausage machine, large volume bakery mixers
