**SUMMARY**:
Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Crown Isle’s Villa Resort Centre and providing customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. A Housekeeper promotes a positive image of Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address special requests and/or problems from our guests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greeting and thanking all guests in a sincere and friendly manner
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel.
- Delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
- Assisting with setting up and taking down functions in the lobby or conference rooms.
- Restocking housekeeping stations.
- Transports garbage to garbage containers, if necessary.
- Providing housekeeping service (such as setting up cots, making beds, changing sheets, or replacing used towels and toiletries) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
- Reports any maintenance problems in guest rooms or public areas to Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
- Is familiar with and has a good understanding of all Policies and Procedures.
- Able and willing to perform any other duties as required.

**ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE**:
v Housekeeper reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Housekeeping is a vital piece of the overall guest experience at Crown Isle and Golf Community

**COMMUNICATION**:
Housekeepers will maintain effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include actively listening to guests’ issues or problems, finding solutions to those problems, and working in partnership with the rest of the Housekeeping/ Accommodations Team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. **EDUCATION**
- Knowledge of WHMIS - Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems is an asset

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Housekeepers must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums. They must have the ability to effectively present information both in one on one, and small group situations with guests and fellow team members.

**REASON ABILITY**:
Housekeepers must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

Must be well organized and able to work unsupervised

Must have Stamina as Housekeeping is a very physical job

Housekeepers must have the vision abilities required by this job to include short-distance vision and long-distance vision.

The noise level in the Housekeeper's work environment is usually moderate.

Housekeepers may be exposed to hazardous cleaning materials. Proper PPE will be provided.
