Manager of Global Data Strategy

**Working Arrangement**

**On a day to day basis you will be involved in the following**:

- Lead the reporting and maintenance of data KPIs and Metrics: Work with cross functional teams to operationalize & maintain comprehensive set of strategic & operations KPIs and metrics used to measure the success of our transformation
- Provide data analysis and insights on KPI metrics to ensure alignment to Global Data strategy and provide recommendation on next best actions
- Manage a small team to support data visualization needs for leadership reporting
- Drive and support the Global Data operating model, process enablement and communications with C-level leadership, data stakeholders and key stakeholders (i.e., C-Level Leadership, CIOs, Segment Data Offices, Corporate Group Functions, Advanced Analytics, Compliance, Security, Marketing, Technology, Operations)
- Development of key reports and Point-of-View’s on strategic technology trends and fostering a best-in-class Global Data team
- Support the execution of the Global Data strategy through providing transparency into progress on strategic objectives
- Lead the global communications strategy and execution across segment teams, optimize our communications process using internal communications assets and leadership messaging for internal and external stakeholders
- Champion Global Data people engagement strategy design and execution, including the planning and implementation of global town halls, offsites, team building workshops, conferences, etc.**Required Skills**:

- Demonstrated 5-7 years’ professional experience in strategy, operating models, process engineering, change management, communications, and data management (both traditional & modern data capabilities) including a University degree and or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent program
- Good working knowledge of modern data and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) and Big Data technology (e.g., Hadoop)
- High level of proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel (required), PowerBI (preferred)
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Prior experience with project management (waterfall or agile) with certification in PMP, CSM, or PSM preferred
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Yammer
- Experience integrating business and technology teams
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into business & value-focused language. A key requirement is to communicate clearly and consistently keeping stakeholders well-informed of progress and challenges;
- Enthusiastic about people development, including team engagements, training and development
- Advanced data, change management, project management (agile and waterfall), talent and training strategy and analytical skills for a variety of tasks or projects;
- Proficient knowledge and experience in Big Data, Cloud, Analytics and Business Intelligence technologies to support design, build and implementation for advanced analytics and reporting;
- Experienced in working with non-local team members from other global regions;
- Remains current with emerging technologies, innovations and practices within the data and analytics industry;
- Must be willing to collaborate with teams in Asia in corresponding time zone
- An interest in assisting with administrative and reporting tasks is an asset
