Fife House is an innovative, client-focused provider of secure and supportive affordable housing and services

to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater Toronto Area. With approximately 110 staff working across 6

locations, in 2020-2021, Fife House served more than 850 residents and clients by providing supportive and

transitional housing programs as well outreach programs to homeless clients and their families.

Fife House is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal

that all IT systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive individual who can

troubleshoot issues, manage IT projects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our IT services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide first-line technical support to staff and users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing based on urgency and impact.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related problems, including network connectivity, system performance,
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
- Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides for IT services.
- Provide training and onboarding support for current and new users on IT systems and best practices.
- Monitor IT systems for performance issues and take proactive measures to prevent outages.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices to enhance IT service delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an IT support role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and experience with troubleshooting network issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with users of varying

technical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using helpdesk software and ticketing systems.
- Time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Customer service oriented, with a patient and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to document processes and create instructional materials clearly.
- Strong sense of initiative
