**Here’s the opportunity: Bilingual Application and Systems Trainer**

Part of the Futurpreneur IT team and reporting to the IT Services Manager, the Application and Systems Trainer will play a vital role in empowering users with the knowledge and skills, they need to be successful in their roles, supporting the work we do with young entrepreneurs across Canada.

This is a full-time position that is located in our Toronto office. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office).

**What you will do**:
**Training Program Development**:

- Design, develop, and update comprehensive training programs in English and French tailored to different user levels, from beginners to advanced users.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining training and knowledge management strategies.
- Carry out needs analysis to determine the areas for training and build strategies and solutions accordingly.
- Help shape a vision for digital learning by introducing and evaluating innovative tools, platforms, and styles, when appropriate.
- Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and online tutorials
- Work with various teams to ensure that all existing and newly implemented technical solutions are well understood and properly employed by users.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst and the rest of the IT Team to understand updates and changes to different platforms we use.
- Work closely with the organization's managers to align training objectives with business goals.
- Stay informed about emerging training methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

**Training Delivery**:

- Conduct both in-person, hybrid and/ or virtual training sessions for individuals or groups of employees, considering their specific roles and needs.
- Engage learners through innovative and appropriate mediums for effective learning experiences, such as interactive PDFs, modular quizzes, webinars, eLearning and video tutorials.
- Ensure the highest quality standards and user experience in the output of training content
- Adapt training methodologies and content delivery to accommodate various learning styles and skill levels.

**Training Evaluation**:

- Participate in feedback loop meetings with Business Analyst to understand training needs.
- Assess the effectiveness of training sessions through evaluations and feedback surveys.
- Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and user performance.
- Make recommendations for improvements, where relevant

**What you bring**:

- Relevant experience may include education with a focus in Business, Computer Science, Information systems or related field or equivalent hands-on career experience.
- Three years or more experience as a software trainer or in a similar training role.
- Microsoft Certified Trainer certification or equivalent is an asset.
- Ability to adapt training strategies to accommodate various audiences.Bilingualism in French & English (spoken & written).
- Ability to provide clear explanation and detailed training to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively in English and French.
- Patience and a customer-centric approach when working with learners.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and training evaluation methods.
