**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Incorporate bilingual education methods when applicable to support language development in English and other languages such as French.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance learning experiences and streamline administrative tasks.

**Skills**
- Strong command of the English language
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous for supporting diverse learners.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
- Ability to educate and engage young learners through creative teaching methods.
- Proficient in using computers for administrative tasks, lesson planning, and communication.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and parent interactions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
