**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are currently recruiting for two casual Facility Operator 1 for the Lacombe Memorial Centre (LMC). The key responsibilities include maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the LMC in accordance with established standards; performing set up and take downs for a variety of LMC events; regular and routine basic maintenance and other related duties as assigned. This position is primarily based at the Lacombe Memorial Centre but may be scheduled to work at City Hall and the Fire Hall as needed. Additional duties include securing the buildings in accordance with existing policies and procedures, ensuring LMC walkways are clear of snow and debris, and a variety of other tasks.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- First Aid certification preferred
- WHMIS
- Previous experience in a custodial/janitorial environment desirable
- Ability to work evenings/nights and weekends (i.e. Saturday 7PM - 3AM)
- Ability to maintain the standards of cleanliness
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
- Ability to work alone and with mínimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, facility users, and members of the public
- Ability to work in various weather conditions as required
- Ability to represent the City and the Department in a professional manner

**Salary Range**: $22.14 - $27.67 per hour depending upon experience.
