Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced permanent, full-time **Merchandising Specialist** to join our growing marketing team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring our merchandise is visually appealing, well-stocked, and accurately priced to maximize sales potential within the retail environment.

**Your Day-to-Day**:

- Develop and execute effective visual merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility, promote sales, and reinforce the brand image.
- Create planograms and layout designs to optimize product placement, space utilization, and traffic flow within the store.
- Ensure products are well-organized, properly tagged, and visually appealing, utilizing props, signage, and display fixtures to attract customer attention and drive sales.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock replenishment, and collaborate with the buying team to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Implement accurate pricing strategies, markdowns, and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing and sales teams.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to recommend effective merchandising strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with buyers, store managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather feedback, and align merchandising efforts.
- Collaborate with our trainers and floor managers to guide retail staff on visual merchandising techniques, product knowledge, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained, and compliance with brand guidelines is upheld.
- Track customer feedback, and visual merchandising metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

**Who You Are**:

- A degree or certification in merchandising, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or store operations is highly desirable.
- Strong visual sense with the ability to create visually appealing displays and arrangements that align with brand aesthetics.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in pricing, tagging, and product presentation.
- Proficiency in analyzing customer insights to drive effective merchandising strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present merchandising concepts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing business needs, new product launches, and evolving visual merchandising trends.
- Proficient in using merchandising software, planogram tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
