**Duties**:
The Outreach Officer on the Consultation Services team actively takes part in the design, the development, and implementation of Election Canada's consultations including those with specific groups. This involves planning from initiation to execution including logistics and coordinating with electors and the organizations that serve them. They also analyze consultation data to help create summaries, reports, lessons learned, and recommendations for Election Canada. Daily tasks include creating timelines and agendas, scheduling, and communicating and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

EXPERIENCES
- Significant* experience developing and writing a variety of communications products such as briefing materials, Web content, brochures, backgrounders, social media messages, reports, information kits or presentations.
- Experience in organizing and delivering external events with stakeholders such as consultation meetings, conferences, workshops or other external communications or outreach events.
- Experience in leading projects from conception through completion and follow-up.
- Experience in providing strategic advice to management in support of organizational priorities or initiatives.

Significant* experience is defined as experience in performing the identified duties as part of regular duties over approximately two (2) years.
