We are currently seeking a **Patient Care Coordintor** to join our team in **Kitchener, ON **location. This dynamic role will allow you actively contribute to the improvement of peoples’ health and wellness, while earning a competitive salary and participating in our benefits package.

**Responsibilities**:

- Call patients to assess their needs, ensuring their equipment is working properly and replaced within the approved manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient.
- Liaise with insurance companies on behalf of and/or in conjunction with patients to determine insurance entitlements.
- Confidentially manage patient accounts.
- Keep current on various products and services from our vendors.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintaining patient database to ensure timely follow up.
- Confidentially manage patient accounts.
- Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing.
- Scan/file documents into patient charts
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to established protocol.
- Greets patients and screens them for appropriate information.
- Maintain/review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Evening and weekend hours maybe required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum one year of relevant experience (Medical office diploma or experience preferred)
- Retail or customer service experience is as asset
- Exceptional client service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work as part of a team under mínimal supervision
