Inclusive Employment Facilitator

Inclusive employers outpace their competitors by harnessing the unique skills, perspectives, and potential of a diverse workforce. **Ready, Willing & Able (RWA)** is a national employment initiative that supports employers to hire inclusively. Since 2014, RWA has supported Canadian businesses to hire more than 3,500 employees who are on the autism spectrum or have an intellectual disability. RWA’s Saskatoon delivery partner, **Inclusion Saskatchewan (INSK)**, is seeking an **Inclusive Employment Facilitator** to grow the RWA program in the Saskatoon region up to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

**About the Role**
Do you have experience building relationships with employers? Do you have a talent for making connections and creating linkages across sectors? The Inclusive Employment Facilitator is a relationship builder - developing connections and partnerships with employers of all kinds, employment agencies, and a ready, willing, and able workforce of job seekers who have an intellectual disability or are on the autism spectrum.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage employers across all sectors and industries to promote the value of inclusive hiring.
- Encourage employers to diversify their hiring practices and expand recruitment and hiring of people on the autism spectrum or with an intellectual disability.
- Link hiring demand to a qualified talent pool & build community capacity to support job seekers and employees with an intellectual disability or autism.
- Develop partnerships with Saskatoon employment agencies to identify job seekers to fill employment opportunities.
- Deliver presentations and information tools for business groups to promote the employment of people with an intellectual disability or who are on the autism spectrum.
- Collect and document stories of all successful hires.
**Skills, Experience, and Education**
- Commitment to full inclusion for people with an intellectual disability and autism, including the right to employment and economic participation in the community.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Experience in sales and lead generation.
- Strong knowledge of the Saskatoon labour market.
- Experience in employment equity, diversity, and inclusion is an asset.
- Knowledge of issues and barriers faced by people with intellectual disability and autism in accessing the labour market is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications and client relationship management software. Aptitude for learning new online systems and tools.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, Social Services, Disability Studies, Education) or equivalent experience.
**Working Conditions**
Flexibility is required based on deadlines and requirements. INSK offers in-office, work-from-home, and hybrid working options.
