**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. You will assist in food preparation, maintain food safety standards, and handle transactions efficiently. **Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space and back of house and other areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with stocking supplies and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is an advantage.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.

Pay: $16.00-$17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
