We are currently seeking **Meat Packer/General Labourer **to join our RTE (Ready to Eat) and Bacon (Fresh Meat) department.

Experience in food manufacturing is considered an asset, but willing to train the right individual. Must be available to work Monday - Friday (40/hrs per week). Occasional overtime may be required based on daily production schedules.

**RTE Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Packing/Labelling of raw or cooked product into vacuum bags and boxes
- Palletizing inventory
- Prepare and operate bacon slicing machine as per production specs and customer order(s)
- Enforce and maintain all Food Safety Requirements and Safe Work Practices
- Help maximize production flow efficiencies while minimizing downtime
- Other general labourer duties as required

**Other Information**:

- This position is repetitive in nature and requires you to be physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 50lb.
- Experience is preferred, but not required. On the job training is provided.
- Combination of standing, reaching, and kneeling throughout shift.
- Must be tolerant of cool temperatures (industrial meat plant) and able to speak/read/write English.

**Shift**:6:00AM - 2:30PM or 6:30AM - 3:00PM
