**Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, the Analyst is responsible for assisting and participating in operational, investments and financial reporting; acquisitions/dispositions activities; financing; appraisals and valuations; strategic decision-making; and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc reporting relating to financial and operational performance (i.e. stakeholder and other business units reporting, key metrics, portfolio statistics).
- Produce and maintain financial models in Argus and Excel for quarterly valuations, investment assessments, comparable analyses and project cashflows.
- Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, financing and coordination of such activities (i.e. maintaining pipeline, transaction/opportunity summaries, rent analysis, zoning review and assessment of environment risk and building conditions).
- Evaluate and maintain economic, demographic and real estate market data to assist decision-making for senior management (i.e. rental rates, financial and non-financial trends, competitive sets, cap rates).
- Prepare and analyze operational and financial data for strategic review (i.e. lease transactions, capital expenditures, investment returns).
- Contribute to the creation of asset plans including annual operating, leasing and capital budgets in accordance with the asset plans.
- Assist reviewing documents such as leases, loans, contracts and letter of intents.Other ad-hoc assignments and/or duties as required.
- Travel and overtime as required.

**Requirements**:

- Education - Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance or similar. Experience in commercial real estate an asset.
- Organization - ability to navigate multiple functions with tight deadlines and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Value - strong work ethics, ability to work under pressure and a team player who is willing to take on various tasks to achieve the team’s strategic goal in a highly demanding environment.
- Communication - client-focused with strong negotiation, influencing and articulate communication skills. Must be able to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, professional and flexible.
- Software - strong computer skills with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Familiarity with Argus an asset.
