**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Technical Sales, the incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to generate sales in an effective way according to the business development objectives. This role has the ability to work remotely at times.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The following are the general duties of the position but are not inclusive of all the detailed tasks that may be required.
- Manage and develop existing and new client relationships
- Contribute to achieve business development sales targets
- Execute short term and long term business development
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and tenders
- Plans daily activities and completes assignments in a timely way
- Enter and maintain client data and opportunities into the organizations CRM system
- Attend seminars and conferences as required

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or diploma in a technical area relevant to organizations client base
- Professional with 1-3 years of experience working in agriculture, mining, or transportation
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, MS Project or other project management systems would be considered an asset
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strategic and self-disciplined
- Driven, confident, and personable
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to travel including international travel
