**About the Iniskim Centre**:
The Iniskim Centre offers programs and services to increase the engagement and success of Indigenous students while also raising awareness of Indigenous peoples and cultures. **About the Role**:
This course will provide an overview of Aboriginal world views and belief systems. Students will gain an awareness of similarities and differences among First Nations in the area of social organizations, spiritual beliefs and cultural practices.

This course is recognized by Mount Royal University as the equivalent of Aboriginal Studies 30.

This position is 3 hours per week during the semester.

**Responsibilities**:
**Instruction**:

- Course planning and delivery (in-person instruction), including preparation of course outline
- Teaching all assigned classes for the semester
- Lecture and in-class activity preparation
- Creation of assessments
- Examination invigilation and grading of all course assessments
- Development and maintenance of a course on D2L site including a running gradebook

**Administration**:

- Maintenance of instructor office hours
- Input of final grades upon course completion

**Qualifications**:
**Salary**: $80/hour
