**About Mammoth Imaging**

Mammoth Imaging is a premier fabric printing company specializing in large-format dye-sublimation for over 20 years. We produce high-quality visual displays, trade show graphics, and soft signage. We are looking for a dedicated Sewing Operator to join our production team and help ensure our finished products meet the highest standards of quality.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operation**: Operate **JUKI industrial sewing machines** and single-needle lockstitch machines to finish printed fabrics.
- **SEG Finishing**: Sew silicone beading (Kedar) onto the edges of fabric graphics with precision, ensuring exact dimensions for frame fitting.
- **Material Handling**: Maneuver large, heavy, and wide panels of fabric through the sewing station without causing damage or soiling. Cut fabric using rotary cutting tools provided. Measure each fabric print as per requirement.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect prints for flaws before sewing and verify final dimensions against job tickets to ensure accuracy.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines (oiling, cleaning, needle changes) to keep equipment in top condition.
- **Collaboration**: Communicate clearly with the production manager regarding timelines, material shortages, or production issues.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating industrial sewing machines (experience with **JUKI**equipment is a strong asset).
- **Industry Knowledge**: Previous experience in the wide-format printing, signage, or drapery industry is highly preferred. familiarity with SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) is a major plus.
- **Communication**:Excellent verbal communication skills** are required. You must be able to read work orders, understand specifications, and discuss adjustments with the team.
- **Technical Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues (tension adjustments, threading).
- **Location**: Must be located in or capable of reliably commuting to the **Milton/Mississauga/Brampton** area.
- **Physical**: Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift/move fabric rolls up to 30 lbs.
