Custodian/maintenance

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the facility.
- Maintain restrooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and sanitized regularly.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention or repairs.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as required to ensure operational efficiency.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while completing assigned tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
