Support the Public Art Conservator Associate Conservator in the hands-on conservation and maintenance treatments of the outdoor public art collection at locations throughout The City.
- Provide support for preventive conservation maintenance work on permanently sited artworks and outdoor sculptures.
- Assist in preparing conservation documentation, including condition assessments, graffiti/vandalism reports, and treatment reports.
- Help with conservation records management and data entry as needed.
- Conduct research on conservation methods and materials to support treatment work and collection management when required.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a degree, post-graduate diploma, or a master's degree program in Art Conservation or a related discipline, preferably specializing in objects and sculptures conservation.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience using PastPerfect Museum Software or other collections management systems would be an asset.
- Success in this position requires well developed communication and relationship building skills, as well as a strong health and safety focus.
- Ability to work well both collaboratively across a team and independently towards clearly defined outcomes and deliverables is required.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

**Pre-employment Drug Test**: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Compensation: $29.82 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
