**Who We Are**

Trevco Steel Ltd. is a growing structural steel fabrication company based out of Erin, Ontario. Since 2004, we have provided contractors and developers with a variety of steel fabrication and installation services.

We are currently seeking a full-time, **Project Coordinator** to become a member of our project management team. This is a salary position. Trevco Steel Ltd. ensures its employees a work environment that is safe, secure and consistent all while being both challenging and rewarding.

**Who You Are**
- Have minimum 2 years of experience in the steel industry.
- Holding a college diploma/university degree in Engineering, Construction Management or another relevant discipline from an accredited institution is considered an asset.
- Familiar with the CISC Handbook of Steel Construction and basic weld symbols related to structural steel.
- Familiar with CAD, Tekla Structures, Trimble Connect, and Tekla EPM/FabTrol.
- Hold a valid Ontario driver licence.
- Strong comfortability on jobsites.
- Working knowledge of mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English

**What You Do**
- Assist in the overall coordination of ongoing projects by working collaboratively with the Project Manager, drafting department, subcontractor, and client.
- Maintain schedules and adhere to arranged timelines.
- Perform site-visits and meet with site personnel including subcontractor foreman and site superintendents to review work being completed.
- Maintain accurate, ongoing, records of jobsite progress and conditions through written reports and supporting photographs.
- Analyze structural drawing, design specifications and scope of work provided by the client (Examine the client provided structural drawings, site plans, specifications, and scope of work for analysis)
- Perform material take-offs, relying on architectural and structural drawings, for change orders.
- Seek and assess subcontractors with a consideration of their services, quality, and price.
- Comprehension of policies related to loss prevention and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with Trevco Steel’s health and safety program.
- Coordinate health and safety job requirements with Trevco Steel’s Health & Safety department.
- Performing quality control checks with subcontractors in the drafting stages and throughout the erection process.
- Perform day-to-day office duties.

**Your Schedule**

Full-time permanent work hours are 9 hours per day Monday through Thursday and 8 hours per day on Fridays for a total of 44 hours per week.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Saturday to Sunday: Off
