Clinical + Educational Psychologist

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive psychological (**Psych. Ed**) assessments and evaluations for youth and adult clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Stay current with developments in the field of psychology through continuous professional development.
**Qualifications**
- Doctoral or Masters degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid CPO/CPBAO autonomous practice certificate to practice as a Psychologist.
- Declared competency and experience working with children is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively both self directed and within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $65.27-$95.57 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hamilton, ON L8W 3R2
