**Key Accountabilities**:

- Meets and exceeds individual sales targets and the team’s profitability goals while holding self, and others, accountable for achieving results
- Participates in the budgeting process to establish goals within the sales department
- Expertly & enthusiastically conducts first appointments/calls with potential clients and consistently prepares an appropriate sales strategy for each first appointment.
- Skilfully adapts style based on guest tone, personality, budget, culture, etc to achieve 1st appointment success.
- Maximizes revenue by up-selling contracted products and identifying additional revenue opportunities based on the event profile and guest budgets
- Proactively brings ideas, solutions and strategies to the Office Manager/DOS to help drive more sales.
- Enter, modify, and update group block information in the system to ensure inventory, stay dates, cancellation policy, deposit requirement, and booking procedure are reflected correctly.
- Manage all group block requests for designated events, prepares all event documentation and coordinates with Hotel sales department.
- Create and maintain Credit Card Authorization Forms Link & Group Reservation Forms
- Maintain accurate filing system for groups and ensure that each group block is traced.
- Record group rooms and revenue in the property management system (Opera).
- Review all the room blocks in Marsha on a daily basis, cut off meeting, compiling daily, weekly and monthly reports, corresponding with Hotel guests and clients from all market segments.
- Monitor room type availability daily and collaborate with the front office.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, process and verify information (e.g., rooming lists, commissions, reward points, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
- Own and maintain the Hotel Information Profile with sales, events and operation teams input.
- Complete competition rate analysis as needed.
- Conduct Hotel site tours for group rooms and outlets as needed.
- Efficiently and accurately utilize eBonus, Group Housing Solutions, Group Posting Tool, MarRFP, MRDW, SFA/One Source, Cvent, Social Tables, Opera and OpenTable software programs and any additional programs as required.
- Maintain positive relationships within the team unit as well as with those outside of it, work together with others toward the common goal of success across the property.
- Provides feedback from clients, both positive and constructive, for the purpose of consistently improving offerings and service levels for guestrooms
- Responds effectively to rectify guest concerns and handles complaints to ensure positive guest recovery
- Informs the necessary departments to solidify guest satisfaction
- Is a champion of Pearle culture, representing genuine & thoughtful hospitality in all interactions
- Pursues the importance of “image “, “attention to detail” and “pride of ownership” to best represent the Pearle Hospitality Brand
- Seeks creative ways to improve service levels within all aspects of the position, understanding that complacency is never an option.
- Demonstrates a commitment to further develop skills and knowledge and takes initiative to accomplish personal and professional development goals
- Willingly accept additional tasks as required for the effective functioning of the work unit.
- Arrive to work promptly, with a professional appearance.

**What we would like you to bring to the position**:

- Post-secondary education an asset
- Knowledge of SFA, Opera sales and catering and MARSHA is required
- Previous experience in Group Reservations is a requirement
- Front desk and reservations experience is an asset
- Experience with multi-line phone systems an asset
- Highly detailed, and able to maintain excellent organizational skills - while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task while working on up to 80-100 future group room blocks.
- Highly motivated with exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of OpenTable is advantageous
