**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair and maintain residential plumbing systems
- Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, boilers, and more
- Dianose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions, test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing layouts
- Work independently or with apprentices to complete job efficiently
- Ensure compliance with Alberta plumbing code and safety standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Utilize power tools to cut, assemble, or solder pipes

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyman Plumber Certificate, _required_
- Minimum 2 years of residential plumbing experience, _preferred_
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract
- Furnace installation and repair considered an asset
- Boiler system experience considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of current plumbing codes and best practices
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Experience with carpentry considered an asset
- Strong ability to build, and maintain various plumbing systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs

**How to apply**:
Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
