Brewery Packager

Paddys Craft Brewery is hiring a brewery packager for the summer season. This is an important frontline job that requires someone who has a passion for great craft beer, a hard work effort and possesses a keen eye for detail. The job involves long hours of being on your feet as well as lifting heavy objects, bending, repetitive tasks etc.

Job tasks include
- Operating company vehicle and making deliveries
- Operation, cleaning, sanitization, organization & general maintenance of: Packaging equipment
- Receiving raw ingredients
- Quality assurance
- Operating keg washer
- General cleaning and organization
- Pallet unloading & delivery help
- Assisting with spent grain disposal
- Event work (Beer festivals, local markets)
- Safe use of brewery chemicals as proper handling of chemicals is required for sanitization and cleaning of equipment
- Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards

Requirements include:

- Passion for all things Craft Beer
- Strong work ethic & ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to be on feet all day and able to lift 55+ lbs regularly & in repetition
- Comfortable working with chemicals and willingness to adhere to safety, environmental and brewhouse standards at all times
- Good troubleshooting skills, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
