**About the Opportunity**

Protocase is currently hiring a Logistics Inventory Clerk to join our team in Sydney (Cape Breton), Nova Scotia. As an ultra-lean manufacturer specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machined products, maintaining an efficient inventory of materials, fasteners, and accessories is crucial to our ongoing success.

**Requirements**:
While experience in a production facility in a logístical role would be beneficial, we are primarily seeking individuals who are eager to learn, follow procedures meticulously, and thrive in a team environment. The following essential skills are required:

- 1 or more years of experience in Inventory Control or a similar field (considered an asset)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract
- Forklift experience
- Strong computer skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**

As a Logistics Inventory Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining and updating records
- Handling and transporting materials
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
- Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
- Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, or merchandise
- Compiling balance, price, and cost reports
