**SERVICE TECHNICIAN**

We are looking for a Service Technician who is able to work independently to service and install commercial food and laundry equipment. You will be required to demonstrate a strong knowledge and skill base in order to qualify for this position.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Diagnose, repair, install, and perform all maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specification as it pertains to a wide variety of commercial food and laundry equipment
- Perform white glove deliveries and installations
- Generate accurate records of performed work, material and time
- Effectively communicate options and course of action with customers
- Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance
- Source required replacement parts and service manuals when applicable
- Communicate with manufacturer technical support on repair issues
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
- Complete required training
- Travel to job sites throughout the Maritimes and training locations will be required
- Ensure regular maintenance of supplied vehicle
- Be a proud ambassador for our company

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma and Valid Driver’s License
- G-2 Gas Certification Preferred
- Strong mechanics aptitude
- Refrigeration Certification/Journeyman Electrician Certification is a definite asset
- Experience in food & laundry equipment service and repair would be an asset
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Confined Spaces, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and any other certificates would be an asset
- Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills
- Available to work overtime, weekends and on-call as required.
- Able to travel for training or for work when required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
