The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Communications Team, Tier 0-3 Technicians, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Manager, IT Helpdesk to develop high-quality technical procedures and policies.
- Data Analytics and building dashboards for technicians.
- Prepare content for online delivery/training.
- Document complex processes in a simple easy to read and understand format.
- Influence the Technical team by educating on our processes and standard methodologies.
- Perform quality control for processes & procedures.
- Coordinate basic end user training/support.
- Provide regular updates to manager on status.
- Fact-check new/existing documentation including Data Accuracy.
- Learn and test system/process functionality while writing documentation.
- Develop workflow/process design.
- Review text for consistent tone and style.
What you bring to the role:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field. (Or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Inventory & Asset Management Controls is an asset.
- Prior experience building dashboards is considered an asset.
- Contributes to shared projects across the larger team.
- Ability to be creative & work independently is considered an asset.
- Balances multiple tasks, including tasks beyond normal scope, and works as an integral part of the IT team.
- Experience with ServiceNow or any related ITSM tool is considered an asset
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries.
- Fluent in English.
