**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support to full time Early Childhood Educators at the end of the work day through engaging with children and and participating in light housekeeping duties.
- Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and fun classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's growth.
- Help to guide the behaviour of young children and support them in developing self-confidence and self-regulation skills.
- Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive curriculum that meets diverse needs.

**Skills**
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and resources effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to both follow routines and be flexible when necessary.
- Ability to care for and maintain a classroom environment that promotes learning through play.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Previous experience working with children in a child care setting is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$27.50 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- child care: 1 year (preferred)

**Location**:

- Regina, SK S4T 2Z8 (required)
