- English Testing Canada (ETC) provides high-stakes English language proficiency tests (IELTS & CELPIP) at locations across Canada. - **The Role**:
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as required
- Checking in and out test-takers’ personal belongings
- Checking in test-takers using IELTS processes
- Administering and invigilating tests
- Cleaning up after tests
- Lifting and pushing/pulling test day bins that may weigh up to 35lbs
- Other duties as required
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
- A strong commitment to principles of social justice, which includes treating all individuals with respect and dignity
- **_ Availability on Saturdays is a must; weekday availability is an asset_**:
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Superior customer service skills and professionalism
- Proven organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Ability to work as a part of a team or alone as required
- Ability to work under examination conditions with respect for confidentiality and secure information
- Ability to accurately follow predetermined instructions
- Available to work outside of normal business hours and is comfortable spending long periods of time pacing, standing, or sitting.
- _ Awareness of and experience with high-stakes testing and/or exam invigilation, including CELPIP and IELTS, is an asset_
- _ A valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is an asset_
- _ Valid First Aid certification is an asset_
- **Please note that ETC provides testing services in a number of locations across Canada. Many of the spaces we work in require proof of vaccination. We want you to be aware that if you are scheduled to report to one of these test venues for a shift, you will be required to show your proof of identification and proof of vaccination in order to gain entry to the venue.**_
