**Overview**

**$5,000 Signing Bonus**

The Installation Technician will be primarily involved with the installation of Handicare products. Preventative maintenance and service work on installed equipment also to be completed on an as-needed basis. Work will be billable against a particular revenue-generating project whenever possible.

**Essential Functions**
- Installation of Handicare overhead ceiling lift products by constructing metal framing and attaching to building structure in the acute (hospital), long term care facilities and home care.
- Assist fellow installation team members to complete each job safely and on time.
- Commitment to following proper OSHA/PPE requirements on job sites/construction sites, practicing safe working habits at all times.
- Competency with various construction tools needed to complete a successful installation (hammer drill, chop saw, band saw, hand tools, tape measure, line lasers, etc.)
- Ability to read dimensioned drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts for extended periods of time.
- Work with hands above head for an extended period of time.
- Lift an average of 50lbs regularly throughout the course of a day.
- Accurate and regular expense reporting.
- Daily communication with project manager to ensure on time/on budget project completion.
- Ability to travel out of town up to 75% of the time.

**Minimum Requirements**
- 3-5 years of construction experience, carpentry preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel out of town for extended periods at a time.
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
- Good background/driving record.
