- Job brief_
Our company is looking for a detailed-oriented Quality Control Specialist (QC).
- Responsibilities_
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPS)
- Pre-sanitize check to ensure the product is ready for production
- Keep track & record of product description details, ie. Temperature etc.
- Conduct regular check on both raw material and finished product in accordance with the quality standard
- Assure the quality of produce entering the warehouse and advise if the product should be accepted or rejected
- Screen out products with deficiencies
- Liaison with shipping & receiving department and purchasing agents for any product concerns
- Job Terms_
- Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need
- Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
- Work Location: 2501-A Standfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible on Sunday to Fridays depending on operation needs
- Compensation: Starting at $42,000 per year depends on experience level
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
- Qualifications_
- Strong & comprehensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- College or equivalent diploma required
- Experience with Internal Auditing as an asset
