**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the dental office, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Coordinate patient flow by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary documentation is available for each appointment.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining an organized front desk environment.
- Assist in managing inventory of office supplies and dental materials as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Sterilizing equipment and following proper hygienic protocol.
- Managing the inventory of dental equipment and supplies.
- Assisting in dental procedures.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Dental Aide / Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dental office software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records to streamline office operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.47 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
