This is an opportunity to learn the locksmith trade from the ground up. We teach our apprentices everything about tools and how to use them.

To serve our customers, it is required that we regularly drive throughout the GTA in our service vehicles, including downtown Toronto.

You must have:
1. A professional and positive attitude. Your ability to prepare yourself to help the team will endear yourself to your coworkers, and open the doors towards long term success.

3. Care for company equipment. The vehicles and tools we use, are necessary for our mutual success. A perfect driving record, exceptional driving habits, which includes avoiding unnecessary stress and strain on the vehicle, and having the vehicle ready before the start of the work day are critical.

4. The desire to learn and problem solve. As the apprentice, it is expected that you will show interest in your new trade outside of work hours. The seriousness of your commitment to your trade will reflect in your job performance. This will directly impact your knowledgebase and skillset, therefor directly impacting your future compensation.

Summary

As a Locksmith Apprentice, you will embark on a hands-on learning journey to develop core skills in lock installation, key cutting, and lock repair. Your premium skills in attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service will be essential as you assist experienced locksmiths in various tasks. Relevant skills such as basic knowledge of security systems and mechanical aptitude will be honed through practical training.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
