**Location**: This opportunity has the ability to be onsite/hybrid/remote in the Vancouver, BC Lower Mainland.
- **Annual Base Salary**: $64000 - $67,800 CAD

**Product Manager I**:

***About The Team**:
As part of the FME Form product group, you’ll join a group of collaborative development teams composed of product managers, team leaders, developers, ux designers, quality analysts, and student interns who work together on complex technical projects that provide direct value to our users.

As a part of this close-knit and diverse team, you will work together with internal stakeholders to maintain and extend our flagship FME Form products, to delight our customers and empower them to author dataflows that can be shared, reused, and integrated within the FME Platform.

***What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Product Manager for the FME Form product, you will have ownership of the prioritization, communication, and strategic alignment of opportunities for our flagship data integration desktop products: FME Workbench and FME Data Inspector. You’ll be collaborating closely with the existing Form Product Manager as well as our Design and Development groups to refine and redefine our user interfaces and experiences.

You’ll be staying on top of industry trends, understanding and advocating for evolving customer workflows, shaping and organizing work for the Development team, and guiding the triage of incoming requests and issues. You are the glue between Leadership (strategy), Development (execution), Marketing and Sales (business), Customer Success and UX Design (advocacy), and you’ll help to keep everyone aligned around vision and roadmap.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Work directly with our three FME Form development teams to bring new features to market
- Join a growing product management practice, bringing in your own ideas to help us improve
- Join the existing Form PM to collaborate on the end-to-end strategic plan of meeting user demand for the expansion and maintenance of FME Form and its various components
- Conduct user research and collaborate with our UX Design and Customer Success teams to represent the voice of the customer in development
- Craft meaningful product requirements with clear objectives
- Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies and reflect this in your strategic decision-making
- Utilize your exemplary communication skills to bridge Development, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Success
- Work with Safe Leadership to align strategic objectives and initiatives with product development
- Measure and evaluate the success of features and changes

***Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies**:
**Required**:

- 2+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years experience in the software development industry, including any of software design, development, support, sales, or leadership roles
- Comfort with working through ambiguity
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills tied to strong customer empathy
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with various stakeholders to build consensus across various departments
- An open mind focused on creative, simple, and robust software solutions
- Working knowledge of Agile concepts (Kanban)

**Desired skills/bonus points**:

- Experience in UX/UI design
- Familiarity with the FME Platform
- Experience with working on a platform / multi-product offering
- Experience in one or more of the following fields: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or spatial data, Data Integration, Data visualization, Enterprise Software, Desktop Software
